What is a lunar eclipse?

The lunar eclipse this event occur on full moon. 

When the total eclipse occur only when the sun, Earth, moon are aligned in one line and Earth is between the moon and sun.

Lunar eclipse is the phenomenon that moon passing through the shadow of the Earth.

This happen only when the Earth,sun,moon are closely aligned with each other. 

And the alignment like Earth is between the moon and sun. 

When the total eclipse the moon color change into red some time it called as blood moon. 


How to watch a lunar eclipse


The lunar eclipse this event is easily watching event we can easily watch this event by our naked eyes.

For this event you do one thing that you go outside and look up in the sky, you didn't compulsory for use telescope or binoculars.

Total lunar eclipse

When the Earth's full shadow fall on the moon that is Umbral shadow.  

From this the moon become completely dark, it will cast in the eeris that if you are not watching this moon you miss the darkness. 

The light comes from the sun that will be refracted by the earth's atmosphere, or little bent towards the moon it gives little glow to moon. 

Let's consider you are standing on the moon and watch this event from the moon your view just like as dark disk passing from the sun.

That the light falls on moon that total lunar eclipse.

Partial lunar eclipse

There are some partial lunar eclipse. 

When the total lunar eclipse occurs when it partially complete this make partial lunar eclipse.  

When the partial lunar eclipse occurs that time the earth, the sun and the moon are not perfectly align. The light little bit goes out of the moon.

Penumbral lunar eclipse

This is the type of eclipse that the earth's shadow are listed out of the moon and the moon are little bit faint in  color. 

The allignment of the Earth, sun, and the moon just the outer from the earth's shadow. And this is least interesting type of Lunar eclipse.
