The Milky Was galaxy is in spiral shaped, in this galaxy our solar system is occurred. The hazy band of light that we can see in the night sky formed that cannot distinguished by our naked eye.

The Age of the Milky Way Galaxy is about 13.51 billion years and the Radius is about 52,850 light years.

The Escape velocity is about 550 km/s and our Milky Way galaxy contains about 100-400 billion number of stars with the constellations like Orion, Sagittarius, Scorpius, Carina, Ara.

After the Andromeda Galaxy Milky Was is the second-largest galaxy in our Local Group. The diameter of the Milky Way Galaxy is about 170000 to 200000 light years and 0.3 kpc thick.  As compare to the Sun this galaxy is approx 890 billion to 1.54 trillion times more mass of the Sun. When we compare the relative physical scale of the Milky Way if Solar system our to Neptune then it approx to the us quarter that the milky was become approx to the US.

The Milky Way Contain ring like structure of the stars which repel above and below relatively flat galactic plane which is warped around the Milky Way and the diameter is about 150000 - 1800000 light years.

Contents of Milky Way

The Milky Way Galaxy contains about 400 billion stars and least many are planets.The stars which contain low mass that are difficult to detect specially about 300 ly from the Sun. The exact figure depends on it that's why the exact figure is difficult to say. 

As compare to our neighbour galaxy that is Andromeda galaxy which contains one trillion number of stars in it. 

Milky way Galaxy contains 10 billion white dwarf 

and about a billion of neutron stars and millions of stellar black holes. 

The gas and dust filled between the stars is disk like structure called installer medium. This disk as radius of planets or stars. The hundred of light years and thousands of light years are the colder has layer and warmer gas layer.
